Our Partner, Canadian Tire, located on Lakeshore in the downtown Toronto Ontario area is looking for skilled Automotive Warehouse and Parts Window Associate who can work in a fast paced, customer-focused auto service environment. As a team member you will be responsible for supporting the licensed Auto Technicians with auto repair services. This role will require knowledge of computerized auto parts services and look-up systems. Other responsibilities will require:  

  • Responds to and handles internal and external customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.  
  • Ensures that the Automotive Service Center team maximizes the customer experience by sourcing, stocking, and providing timely and correct vehicle components as requisitioned by the customers and/or Licensed Automotive Technicians.  
  • Keep customer informed of any information given about vehicle from technician 
  • Be the liaison between auto techs and customers 
  • Follows established procedures regarding the ordering and sale of parts and tires for the Automotive Service Centre.  
  • Verifies correct vehicle information and parts and tires applications for look-up and ordering.  
  • Quotes parts and tire pricing and availability.  
  • Locates products in the warehouse.  
  • Be responsible for recording new inventory, as well as lost or stolen product  
  • Stock display areas with products as required  

Our successful Candidates have:  

  • Good working knowledge of automotive parts and part lookup system.  
  • Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire store or Auto Service Centre, is considered an asset  
  • Driver's Licence required with clean abstract  
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written  
  • Capable of handling fast paced environments while keeping a positive attitude, strong work ethic and focus on productivity  
  • Punctual, ready to work attitude
