Customer Service Representative

The Job:

As an Inbound and Outbound Commercial Business to Business Care Representative, you'll engage in customer care calls to have a conversation about their business and its needs in order to match them with the perfect solutions and upgrades available from our client. You'll also need to respond to requests from customers for information on products, equipment, services and billing by assuming full ownership of customer's requests and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.

The Duties:

  • Inbound and Outbound Business to Business upgrades of AT&T products and services to existing customers
  • Handling customer issues and questions
  • Processing new service orders from start to finish
  • Documenting all calls; Disposition of call is extremely important
  • Handling 50-80 calls per day
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly personal and team quotas and goals

Skills for Success:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Minimum 1 year of business to business experience preferred but not required
  • · Front of House Restaurant Sales experience or Mortgage Broker experience may also be considered in lieu of business sales experience
  • Prior call center experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Must be highly organized and able to follow-through
  • Ability to navigate through several web applications simultaneously and enter data at 25 wpm
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and employment and education verification
  • Must have high school diploma with relevant work experience
  • Experience in an outbound call center or sales environment is an asset
  • Ability to sell and build customer relationships over the telephone
  • Good attentive and active listening skills 
  • Must have good computer skills, including (E-mail, Internet, Windows navigation and file management)
  • Ability to relate well to all kinds of people with various personalities and temperaments
  • Ability to multi task by simultaneously; listening and thinking about  solutions to offer our customers while entering data
  • Effective and accurate decision making skills
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts or additional hours as dictated by business needs
  • Strong time management skills

The Training and Production Hours:

  • Two weeks of in classroom training; Two weeks of phone evaluation
  • Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Heavy training on CRM and client data base and phone system
  • Must have open availability to work any shifts scheduled between Monday-Sunday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

 

The Pay:

  • Base salary is $11.00 hour plus bonus
