Junior Full Stack Developer (Remote)

They must have technical expertise in all facets of Application Development, Maintenance and utilities on the Windows Operating System (both on the Client and the Server Side) including Database Application Development. This would include the API development and Integration as well as Application development in Python and/or C#. Each IT employee is expected to meet and/or exceed security protocol requirements to protect from cyber threats and member’s data and all computer equipment at all times.

What you will be doing:  

• Build, consume, document and integrate of APIs in a development, test and production environment supporting the Credit Union’s Software Platform. Development of RESTful API’s in Python Flask and / Or Node JS Express is required. 
• Develop web applications for internal IT Services 
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end 
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability 
• Review designs created by designers; ask any necessary clarifying questions before starting on work 
• Lead and manage end-to end life cycle for the production of software and applications; through a project conception to finished product 
• Work with IT Management to develop programming templates and standards consistent with industry best practice 
• Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (e.g. IT staff, department managers, end users) to gather requirements, develop specifications, author, debug, test and document program code 

What we need from you: 

• 3-5 Years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Management, and Implementation of various standalone and client - server architecture-based enterprise application software (Banking Preferred) 
• Extensive knowledge in Python, PHP, PLSQL, SQL Server. 
• Experience with Design, code, debug operations, reporting, data analysis and web applications utilizing Python. 
• Worked with MVW frameworks like Django, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, XML, Java Script, jQuery, JSON and Node.js. 
• Involvement in building frameworks and automating complex workflows using Python for Test Automation. 
• Experience in writing REST APIs in Python for large-scale applications. Experience with Mulesoft or KONG preferred 
• Excellent working Experience in Agile (SCRUM) using TFS and Waterfall methodologies with high quality deliverables delivered on-time. 
• Write Python modules to extract/load data from the SQL based source databases. 
• Good Command of web services with protocols SOAP, REST. 
• Must have used PyUnit, the Python unit test framework, for all Python applications. 
• Good working experience in using version control systems CVS, SVN, Git, and GitHub. 
• Proficient in developing web applications using PHP, MYSQL, AWS, Flask, Jinja, HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, Java Script & AJAX. 
• Experience in working with Python ORM Libraries including Django ORM. 
• Skilled in testing tools like JIRA. 
• Experienced in working with various Python IDEs using PyCharm, Spyder, NetBeans, PyStudio, PyScripter, Eric, Wing IDE and PyDev. 
• Adept at automating repetitive work through Python. 
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft.NET, C#, PLSQL/T-SQL coding, and program debugging.
