Manager, Leadership Development and Learning

 

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the Manager, Leadership Development and Learning

is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to create, manage, and deliver world class learning and development to our leaders in order to provide them with the foundation they need to be successful.  You will create a baseline with our current leadership team and assess learning and development needs, delivery methods, and training effectiveness.  You will facilitate all of the leadership development training as an on-going service to new and existing leaders. 

Salary Range 70-90K 


What you will do:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a leadership learning & development program.
  • Determine training needs and requirements for the company by meeting with managers, talking with employees, administering surveys or other training needs analysis methods.
  • Review training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance and makes the necessary changes to adapt to our business requirements.
  • Modify or create course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the leadership learning and development training in terms of ROI.

 

You are someone who has:

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in learning and development or related field, as well as bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, learning or leadership-related field.
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects and/or program portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive instructional design experience and expertise in designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions for virtual and live environments.
  • A drive for excellence, and making things happen. You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver key messages with clarity and purpose.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills and an ability to build and maintain a strong network with colleagues, sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge of applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, team collaboration sites, along with the ability to adapt to new applications.
