Our Partner, located on Lakeshore in the downtown Toronto Ontario area, is looking for skilled Pit Stoppers who can work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a team member, some key responsibilities include oil and lube services, minor vehicle repairs and maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups. We are looking for someone with great communication skills and must have a good working knowledge of most automobiles and light trucks. Other duties require:  

• Build customer loyalty and retention, and provide an excellent customer experience by ensuring an ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.  
• Draws attention to additional work required on the customer’s vehicle.  
• Provides quality workmanship to meet or exceed industry standards.  
• Ensures that an unsafe vehicle is reported to management and vehicle owner.  
• Ensures vehicles are kept clean and free of damage by using seat covers and floor mats.  
• Maintains company and personally owned equipment and tools, as required.  
• Is respectful of all shop tools and equipment.  
• Complies with company, store, and Automotive Service Centre policies.  

Our successful Candidates are:  

• Interested in, and up to date with, current automobile technology.  
• Experienced in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire store or Auto Service Centre, is considered an asset  
• Able to provide a Driver's License with a clean abstract  
• Able to communicate excellently both verbally and written  
• Capable of handling fast-paced environments while keeping a positive attitude, strong work ethic and focus on productivity  
• Punctual, ready-to-work attitude
