Our Partner, Canadian Tire, is located on Lakeshore in the downtown Toronto Ontario area and is looking for skilled individuals with service experience as we are in search of an Assistant Auto Services Manager who can work in a fast paced, Customer-focused environment. Experience in management or a supervisory role is considered an asset. As a team member your Primary focus is to support the service manager in leading the service team. You will build up team moral, creating high-quality professionals in auto services. While working together with the service manager to establish sales objectives, costs controls and strategies for growth and profitability.  Other responsibilities will include:   

  • Develops and maintains a culture that values excellent customer service through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.   
  • Develops and implements a longer-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers.   
  • Assists the service manager in recruitment, development the auto service team.  
  • Coaches team members to provide excellent customer service.   
  • Holds others accountable for providing excellent customer service, Lead by example and consistently displays excellent customer service.   
  • Monitors and improves the productivity of the team through strong leadership, motivation, team building and effective scheduling.   
  • Plans, organizes, delegates, and follows up on work and projects while considering team skill levels, customer wait times and the availability of parts and equipment.   
  • Overall assist with the wellbeing and success of the auto service center   

Our successful Candidates have   

  • At least 2+ years experience in Automotive service  
  • Manager experience in auto service considered an asset    
  • Driver's Licence required with clean abstract   
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written   
  • Capable of handling fast paced environments while keeping a positive attitude, strong work ethic and focus on productivity   
  • Punctual, ready to work attitude
